It's been a minute since I posted a blog on www.sharperworksllc.com. Our last challenge, Get Started, was definitely tough but ended successfully and on time (check out my Instagram page for all 21 posts!). Balancing major life challenges while maintaining online and social media presence proved to be a bit much! But in the words of Diddy, 'can't stop, won't stop.' So let us keep it moving right along!
Chapter 5 of Get Boss opens with a quote from one of my favorite contributors to science and humanity, Dr. Albert Einstein. He said, "only a life lived in the service to others is worth living."
For the next 21 days, I encourage you to think deeply about your dedication to service as you aspire in your career, personal, and spiritual endeavors. Serving should not be confused with giving. We can give something that is actually a disservice to the recipient ... For example, how many times have you flooded a child with more gifts than they actually need, want, or actually use? Exactly.
Allow the current season of giving to be a reminder that the greatest gifts we give will always be founded in genuine service. Thank you for reading today's blog!
